Pre-Membership meeting for New Members and their Sponsor

Do not attend this meeting unless you have been invited by the Membership Secretary.  

Things you need to do prior to attending the meeting:

1. Reply to this email by March 10th to confirm your attendance. If you do not reply to this email you will lose your spot as I will move on to the next name on the list.  Space is limited. 

2. Contact the current member that is sponsoring you to arrange their attendance with you. They must attend this meeting with you and they are required to sign your application.

3. Obtain a current PATCH, (Pennsylvania Access To Criminal History), Report. As of December 1, 2017 you no longer have the option of obtaining you report by USPS. They only make the report available through the Pennsylvania State Police Web site. You are required to pay the PA State Police for your report and this money is not refundable by the York Rifle Range or the State of Pennsylvania if you are not accepted into membership.
   22. Website access: https://epatch.state.pa.us/   takes up to 2 to 4 weeks and costs $22.00  Many members have received this report in less than 24 hours.

4. Arrive with your sponsor, you are still a guest and must follow rules for guests. Your sponsor will need to get you in the security gate and clubhouse with their access card.

PRE-MEMBERSHIP Meeting information

You and the Member that is sponsoring you should arrive at the York Rifle Range between 6:00 and 6:15pm to be checked-in, complete and submit the full application for membership,  a copy of your PATCH report and pay the initial $30 payment, ($20 membership fee and $10 application fee).  Cash only.  No checks or Credit cards will be accepted.

The $30 payment to the York Rifle Range is refundable if you are not accepted into membership,  The money you pay for the PATCH report is not refundable.

  *Note:   Information on the PATCH report that would disqualify a person from membership with the York Rifle Range would be:

                Any Felony Conviction, Conviction of a Crime of violence or any other conviction that does not allow you to legally own or possess a firearm in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or the United States of America.
